Live Event Painting
Me as your wedding painter
Every painting is unique and a representation of my distinctive impressionistic style. I have honed my skills through years of painting and teaching Art. I hold a Bachelors and a Master’s degree in Art and Design. I enjoy attending additional workshops with professional artists to learn new techniques and mediums. I have found that I really enjoy the challenge of painting live and I love meeting new people, seeing beautiful venues, and the whole excitement of wedding days. I have worked weddings and events for years as catering staff, bartender, and day of coordinator. I have also been in so many weddings and assisted so many friends, siblings and cousins through the process. My goal as your wedding painter is to be the least of your worries when it comes to your event and to leave you with something you will always cherish from your special day.

Where to Start
We will begin after the initial contact with a consultation to discuss the size and specific moment you would like painted. We will consider the background image/scene from the venue and the pose of the couple to be wed. This conversation will determine what details will be included and which package would be most appropriate for your desired art work. The signed contract reflecting our agreement and the deposit is required to hold your date.
Pre Wedding Day
Before the wedding I will need a contact number for the person who will be in charged the day of the event. This may be a wedding planner, coordinator, venue coordinator or a family member. I also need the schedule and/or the photographer’s schedule. You can pick a place for my set up or I can pick it when I arrive.
Day of the Wedding
I will show up 2-3 hours before the event, set up my space and take pictures for reference. I start painting as soon as possible and will continue painting throughout the ceremony and reception. If I am able to I will take a few quick pictures of any persons that will be prominent in the painting before the ceremony if unable I will take them immediately following the ceremony so I may return to painting and to greet your guests. If necessary, I will take more during the ceremony or reception.
When I have finish for the night I “present” the painting to the Wedding couple. This is a great photo opportunity for both of us and I try to be ready before the photographers leave.
Afterwards I will quickly and quietly clean up and pack. I take the painting home with me to add additional details and to create a finished work. I will send the completed image to the client for approval before I varnish for protection. Then it is packaged and mailed or if possible hand delivered.
